Green Smoothie

This green smoothie packs a nutritious punch with the leafy greens, while the nut butter and flaxseed provide protein and fat to keep you fuller for longer. The oats are a great source of soluble fibre so this is a great start to your day in less than 5 minutes. It also tastes delicious!
The avocado or banana are an optional addition but they make the smoothie rich and creamy.

Green Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 large handful of spinach/chard
½ avocado or 1 banana
3 tbsps oats
1 tbsp almond butter
1 tbsp flaxseed
125ml almond milk
Ice

 

 

Instructions

  1. Place all of the ingredients in a blender, blitz and serve!
